Description
White label test pressing of 'Do It Yourself' on Stiff Records from 1979.
I got this new from Stiff mail order in '79 and it's been stored vertically on record shelves ever since and has never been played.
Matrices: SEEZ 14 3-A-UT TRIDENT SA SEEZ 14 B-3-UT STEVE
Note: these matrices identify this as a Trident Studios master. In 1979, Stiff used these white labels specifically as test pressings for the artists and label bosses to sign off the "Steve" (Steve Crangel) and "Trident" cuts.
Sleeve condition: Excellent
- Original plain white top-loading card sleeve with 'SEEZ 14 3' stamped at top left. This matches the SEEZ 14 3 matrix on the record itself.
- Includes the original plain paper inner sleeve.
- No writing, stickers, creases or separations.
- Never been played. I've owned it since new and have never played it. No spindle marks.
- Can see lightest of in/out hairlines under insp light only.
- Has just been cleaned in a Spincare record cleaner with distilled water and static removed with a Zerostat gun.
