DESCRIPTION:
This Vertigo 45 doesn’t turn up that often in collectable condition. The example available in this auction is an un-played stock copy in 100% MINT condition…Please let me offer some background clarification to support the use of the ‘M’ word… On eBay sellers are often over eager with their grading and you will note that I usually put sound clips of the records I have for sale on my listings. However, on this occasion there is no clip for the simple reason that this record has never been played, it came from a collection of records that were bankrupt shop stock from an electrical retail outfit that also carried records from the early 60’s through until 1978 where much of the unsold stock was removed from the shop and stored safely in the family home.
I have viewed the surfaces of the vinyl under 100W and angled sunlight and as an audiophile I’m satisfied on this rare occasion the Mint grade is appropriate and correct. In the years I have sold on eBay I can only recall two other occasions where I have afforded the Mint grade, first and foremost I am an avid record collector, trader and record fair organiser with the added affliction of being an audiophile.

The surfaces of the disk are pristine featuring a full glossy lustre under direct angled light. The disk is flat with no warp or buckle of any kind. The superb UK Vertigo ‘Swirl’ labels show no signs of fading, wear, writing, staining or other detractors. The labels are MINT. Sleeve:
The 100% Original Vertigo Co ‘Flip back wavy top’ Sleeve is in the best condition I have seen. Of course with no form of lamination discoloration can often occur to thin paper and I would say there is very slight yellowing to the sleeve, no folds, writing, rips, stickers, or tears. This sleeve is therefore in Excellent Plus condition (EX+) Please take the time to study the images above for a clear view of condition
