Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by, Ian Matthews, If You Saw Thro' My Eyes.
This was released by Vertigo Records in 1971 and has catalogue number 6360034. This is the first press with a gatefold sleeve, spiral label and inner. Please check the pictures for clarification.
Matrix 6360034 1Y1 6360034 2Y1
Condition: The gatefold sleeve has buffing to the very corners and a couple of very light discolour marks. Spine & Edges Ex, No tears, bends or creases, centre ex, a fine sleeve and graded at Near Mint.
This comes with its original spiral inner sleeve which has a little yellowing but is otherwise fine, no edge splits or tears.
Both labels look brand new, Under a very strong light two or three tiny spindle trails can be seen on each side, the centre hole is perfect and shows no signs of wear.
The vinyl reatins its brand new shine and looks immaculate, Under the strongest of lights I can't see a mark or feather scratch on this. The audio is as you would expect and superb, playing with no lessening in sound quality whatsoever and certainly not suffering from any reduction due to wear. No fading, distortion or dragging on either side, quiet entries and breaks. Just about as good as you can find this one and graded at a strict Near Mint. Down-graded because it has been played at least once.
A superb addition to any collection and collectors copy.
