Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --IAN MATTHEWS--TIGERS WILL SURVIVE- UK ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL PRESSING WITH ORIGINAL FIRST PRINT SLEEVE

STEREO 6360 056, RELEASED 1972 (VERTIGO SWIRL / SPIRAL RELEASE)?!?

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD, TEXTURED and UN-LAMINATED. It is in NICE condition showing some wear and tear. It is very flat and square. The bottom edge is EX- with MINIMAL wear. The top edges are in EX condition. The front is EX with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKERS AND NO STICKER TEARS just a little creasing at the edges and light surface rub. There is wear to all four corner tips. The back of the sleeve is in very similar EX- condition with NO WRITING OR RING-WEAR there is a stain which you can see in the close-up picture which is through to the inner gatefold. The spine is very square and has no splits (this sleeve has no information printed on the spine, which is correct). The inner gatefold is in EX- condition with no writing or tears, just the stain along the top edge. All in all this is in very acceptable condition for a sleeve of some 37 years of age, EX-.

LABELS.....There is no damage to either label. EX/VG+. There is a small stain on the B-side, but NO tears or stickers or unwanted writing.

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have a deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see very few, very faint surface hair lines which are caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are NO deeper marks/scratches. Both sides play WITHOUT JUMPS just a very small amount of crackles. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of listening pleasure at all, great stereo separation and sound stage, so important to an acoustic album such as this. There are very light dust crackles that can be heard only in the quieter parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean could sort out some of that. This really is a nice copy, and it is such a great album and quite rare now as all the swirls are becoming. IN COLLECTABLE CONDITION AND IS GRADED AS AN HONEST EX+. SOME 37 YEARS OLD NOW???!!!
