Description
About 6 or 7 years ago, I had the good fortune to buy the complete music collection of one of the two directors of the Australian label, Regular Records, including a huge storage space containing the entire Regular Records Archives, which had been in storage since 1996/7. I sold a few odd items back then, and again about 4 years ago, and the (huge!) balance has remained untouched...until now. It's time to get amongst it all and pull out some more items...so here goes.
The Archives was loaded with master tapes, video masters, contracts, complete files on each artist...as well as PROMOTIONAL POSTERS for nearly every release...PLUS...some gig posters as well.
And copies of virtually every record, CD, or cassette they ever released.
This below is one of that collection.
ICEHOUSE - "MAN OF COLOURS" (same song/same version on both sides)
...vinyl 12" single...
Australian pressing...promotional-only TEST PRESSING...never released to the public - they made about 100 of these as a promotional item.
Made by Regular Records (matrix #: Promo Icehouse DMX 69471:2 - same on both sides)...1987...comes in its original plain black die-cut card sleeve (never in pic sleeve). Plain white rubber-stamped labels.
CONDITION:
COVER: ( )...
VINYL: ( EX )...beautiful and shiny!...
LABELS: (both are MINT )...
Please note that I take a LOT of care with packaging - all records are removed from their covers (and any printed inner sleeves) to avoid splitting damage during transit - records and covers are carefully sealed in outer soft plastic sleeves to avoid any unforeseen dampness in transit - all packaged in stiff cardboard so it arrives in exactly the condition it left here - well, that's my mission anyway. I can't account for handling during it's journey from here to you, but with over 70,000 parcels mailed out now, I've STILL not had a badly damaged delivery!
I aim to keep that situation intact.
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
