Description

IF
1st LP

Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.

ORIGINAL UK issue released on the pink Island label with white ''i'' logo.

Formed by jazzers Dick Morrissey and Terry Smith, ‘IF’ were one of the best prog-rock outfits. Many argue they are not jazz rock but progressive rock with jazz & blues influences. Sadly of course Dick and JW Hodgkinson have now gone to that big gig in the sky so this album is a reminder of a hugely underrated UK outfit from 1970.

You could pay a staggering £125.00 elsewhere on eBay....or get this for less!........as usual, Zootuk brings you the best record deals on eBay!

J.W. Hodgkinson - Lead Vocals / John Mealing Organ, Piano, Vocals / Terry Smith - Lead Guitar / Dick Morrissey - Tenor Sax, Alto Sax, Flute / Dave Quincy - Tenor Sax,Soprano Sax, Flute / Jim Richardson - Bass Guitar / Dennis Elliot - Drums

Record in very good condition. Mega lite paper lines, seen under strong light. Plays excellent. The unlaminated sleeve has the lightest of wear but NO rips, splits, damage or writing.

This is a Vinyl record. Note that most vinyl will have a little faint 'crackle'. I describe them as best I can but be aware all records may have a very occasional background.
