You are bidding on a copy of

IF 2

the second album from the British Jazz Rock band 'IF'

Released 1970 on 'picture Island'

This is a 1st pressing ~ matrix No: ILPS 9137  A-1U / B-1U

~

This album was a gift to me back in the day when you could

still find it on the shelves!

What makes this different is that it was only ever played once, to

record it onto cassette. It was then hermatically sealed in a

polythene sleeve & presented to me for my birthday,

along with the cassette!

That is how it has remained until this listing.

The photos show the sleeve being cut & the record being extracted

for the very first time (A bit like Tutankahmun'S Tomb!)

The condition of the vinyl is obviously excellent although there is

evidence of the turntable spindle on the label on side 2 (1 very small mark)

The cover has faired reasonably well considering the

number of house moves that it has endured.

The usual 'circle' mark where it has been between other LPs

A couple of creases to both sides close to the spine

Minimal 'crushing' to the corners on the spine edge.

The spine is good & readable.

I'm not a dealer but, in my opinion, this would class as 'excellent to mint'

as far as the vinyl is concerned

& 'good' for the cover

The inner sleeve is perfect
