Description : Gambia’s Ifang Bondi led by Badou Jobe (previously the Super Eagles) were the “Afro-Manding Blues” band who are credited with inspiring Senegal’s young musicians of the 70s like Youssou N’Dour and Thione Seck to get into their local dance rhythms, changing the face of the region’s music forever.
This is funky, raw Afrobeat from 1982 with guitars, bass, sax, flute and lots of local percussion.
