IHRE KINDER 2375004 (Kuckuck 2375004) Krautrock RARE German 1st Pressing Jeans MINT-
RARE German first pressing of the third album by Ihre Kinder, "2375004", released on Kuckuck Records (1970).
The Nürnberg-based Ihre Kinder, led by Sonny Hennig were among the first German bands to write and perform in German exclusively, making the band as much of a hard sell as the similarly inclined Ton, Steine, Scherben from Berlin. Ihre Kinder were also among the handful of German bands that wrote specifically about political and social subject matter: alienation ("Leere Hände"/"Empty Hands"), Apartheid, drug abuse, and the plight of (political) prisoners.
Although very much of their time and not a "Krautrock" band in the strict sense of the word, the historical importance of Ihre Kinder should not be underestimated.
GRADING:
MINT(-) COVER in near-perfect condition. Please see the photos for details.
- Original blue jeans cloth "gimmick" sleeve in impeccable condition.
- Perfect orange jeans label (at top right).
- Also includes the original polylined inner sleeve in MINT(-) condition.
EX+(+) RECORD with light general signs of use.
- Peerless audio reproduction throughout.
- A bit of general hairlining, predominantly from sleeve removal.
- Superficial background crackle in between some tracks.
- Original, very first pressing Kuckuck Records labels, absolutely perfect with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "00 2375 004 S1 ? 1970" and "00 2375 004 S2 ? 1970", thereby denoting a first German pressing.
- This record is fully certified to be a very RARE first German pressing of "2375004", issued in late 1970.
PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay UK, this item is in honestly-graded MINT- condition: You will not find another copy of "2375004" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price. "True value for money" is the motto here!
