Must of the 50°s jazz from NEW YORK , "mellow the mood " is the perfect title for this lp , IKE QUEBEC is the leader of a really impressive team , composed of CHARLE CHRISTIAN / BEN WEBSTER / OSCARD PETITFORD / GRACHAN MONCURE / BUCK CLAYTON / JONAH JONES etc.. the jazz direction is clear play mellow and spirit , most of the solos ofthis record are made in the vein of LESTER YOUNG " old soul jazz vein " not many butr choosen notes , it give a very refiend mellow jazz sound to this MUST lp ...

ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE pressing , with LEXINGTON EVNUE ADRESS on the label , plus deep groove , the lp is in vg / vg+ condition , it play with constant light to medium surface nosie , try the soundclip from the lp to sell , according to me this lp is a piece of museum because really unique jazz session with very unique vein , tha is why i sold it to an high price , please READ CAREFULL THE CONDITION BEFORE BIDDING, i listen to this lp at least three times , and there are nopops , no clics , just a surface noise who don't disturb the killer music on that record ..COVER IS IN VG++ , openied bottom  centimeter , front and back cover only have light sign of times , but no names , no writing , and no splits   ..try soundclip .  ..
