Announcing the First Australian Tour
By Chart-topping International Opera Stars
Having rocketed to the top of the National ARIA Album and Classical Album Charts earlier this year with their extraordinary debut album, IL DIVO, have confirmed their first Australian Tour in March 2006.
David Miller (tenor, USA), Sebastien Izambard (vox populi, France), Urs Buhler (tenor, Switzerland) and, Carlos Marin (baritone, Spain) became IL DIVO in December 2003, following a worldwide search by music mogul Simon Cowell for a mould-breaking quartet that could blend the energy of contemporary popular music with the transcendent grace and flawless technique of classical opera.
IL DIVO will be joined by an orchestra and band as well as special guest Hayley Westenra. 18 year old Hayley, widely reputed to look and sound like an angel, is no stranger to Australia having just launched her new album 'Odyssey' here; a follow up to the Top 10 platinum debut 'Pure' (the best selling album of all time in New Zealand at 12 x platinum!).
Don't miss your chance to see this extraordinary new vocal group in concert.
