Description

This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the rare sole LP by psych/folk rock group Ill Wind, released in 1968.  The group was from Boston, but recorded their LP in New York.  Most of the LP's tracks were co-written by the group's lead guitarist Ken Frankel and his brother Tom, who also served as the group's manager.  They also offer a fine version of the oft-covered "High Flying Bird."  The jacket has one major problem: there are lots of small holes (presumably from tacks or pins) in three of the corners and along the spine.  One of the corners is gone (it looks like a rough cut corner), while in a second the cardboard is torn away at the tip on the back cover -- see photos.  Otherwise the jacket is in fine condition with a small cutout hole and a little light ring, seam, and edge wear.  Overall VG-.  Visually, the disc has some scuffing and loss of glossiness.  There are some light pops at the start of side 1, track 1, but otherwise it plays well with light surface noise and occasional light cracking (VG+).  The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
