Authors of one sole album produced in 1971, Ilmo Smokehouse made a name for themselves during the early seventies thanks to their incessant gigging, often sharing the stage with names like MC5, Big Brother & The Holding Company, The Amboy Dukes, Brownsville Station, James Gang, Sugarloaf,Crow, The Flock and BB King! Thanks to their aggressive and captivating sound - a mix of heavy rock with blues/psych/jazz influences -- they were always well received. Ilmo Smokehouse was started by Craig Moore, bassist and singer for the legendary Gonn, whose "Blackout Of Gretely" was one of the most popular garage tunes of the late sixties. (from Amazon)

This is the original pressing on Beautiful Sounds, not the Roulette reissue.

Vinyl is Good but not bad (as Goldmine uses to rate). Name on label of one side. Mild musty smell.

No skips, it is noisy especially during quiet passages, but seldom does it overpower the music and not so much as to want you to not listen(at least for me J)

I have tried to describe this as best as I can. Returns accepted.

I think it would certainly “fill-in” until a better copy could be found, if that is possible.

Cover is VG, with a bit of ring wear.

Also includes an insert.

I got the record from a roadie for the band when it first came out in 1970.
