IMAMU AMIRI BARAKA : It's Nation Time / African Visionary Music LP (Black Forum [USA] B-457 L) 1972.
Record is VG+; It has one large superficial scuff across most of side two, causing light audible surface noise with each revolution, but nothing loud or annoying -- most of the time when the music is loud it's hardly noticeable. Otherwise it plays fine with light surface noise here and there, nothing bad at all. Gatefold cover is VG with moderate ring-wear, and moderate to heavy seam wear, including a 2" split at the edge of the top seam.
Original copy of the third LP (following A Black Mass with Sun Ra and Black And Beautiful... Soul And Madness, both on his own Jihad label) by Leroi Jones aka Imamu Amiri Baraka. Superb avant soul-jazz backing throughout by Gary Bartz, James Mtume, Reggie Workman, Idris Muhammad, Lonnie Liston Smith, etc.
