IMPALA SYNDROME s/t rare original psych lp!

1969/Cdn/Parallax P-4002….here’s an original Canadian deep groove pressing, unfortunately without the real cover. This record is housed in a black disco sleeve that someone taped smaller pictures of the cover to one side of the disco cover. The vinyl is in strong VG to VG+ condition with just some light scuffing/wear and light scratches, nice gloss and plays very well, some light minor noise here and there, a few light clicks here and there but nothing too repetitious or disctracting and overall the record plays with good fidelity, light noise between tracks, there are no skips, sticks, or other issues. The labels are clean with a handful of light spindle marks, near invisible small name written in blue ink on label as shown in picturePlease check my auctions for other psych and rock lp’s, good luck and thanks for looking!

Originally from Venezuela, where they were known as Los Impala, this group relocated to Madrid, Spain in 1965. After a few months, their singer Henry Stephens left to pursue a solo career, recording an EP as Lord Henry Con Los Impala.
After a few years the band moved to Chicago, releasing their Impala Syndrome album which is well worth checking out. An effective blend of melodic, laid back songs (Love Grows A Flower, Land Of No Time and the superb Eastern-influenced finale, Run (Don't Look Behind)) combined with fuzz guitar numbers like Too Much Time and Let Them Try. New Love Time is also rather catchy.

MINT: as stated with no defects

M- OR NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.

AIR POSTAGE TO USA IS $10 ...OR $8 SURFACE IF THE PACKAGE WEIGHS LESS THAN 500 GRAMS(one regular weight pressing).........USA AIR POSTAGE FROM 500 GRAMS TO 1 KILO IS $15 AND SURFACE MAIL IS $12(usually 1-3 lp’s depending on individual weight), I can also send heavier packages to the USA by expedited surface mail, this option includes a tracking number and free insurance up to $100 for $15 to $20 depending on weight, insurance over $100 is $1.00 for each additional hundred dollars.

INTERNATIONAL AIR POSTAGE(depending on destination) UNDER 500 grams is $17 to $20(one regular weight lp), OVER 500 grams is $30 to $36(usually up to 3 lp’s depending on individual weight), SURFACE MAIL IS AVAILABLE OVERSEAS for  $12(500 grams) $15 (500 - 1000 g),OVERSEAS AIR POSTAGE BETWEEN 1000g AND 2000g (usually between 3 and 6 lp’s depending on individual weight) is $49 to $55.

IN CANADA..POSTAGE IS $7 IN Ontario and Quebec, $10 elsewhere in Canada.
