Description

This is truly a one of kind item!  It is an ultra rare radio program sponsored by the US Army.  This is program #81 which was broadcast the week of February 5, 1968 and hosted by Harry Harrison.  It is a very unique record series in that each artist is interviewed briefly before the feature song is played.  The record is in Very Good Plus Plus (VG++) condition and includes the original cue sheet in Near Mint (NM) condition!   Good luck finding this anywhere else!

The album jacket (cover) is a one-sided generic cover which was used for all such programs and is also in VG++ condition.  The blank backside of the cover has the songs and artists written in ink by the DJ.  The tracks are as follows:

Side 1

  1. “We Can Fly” – The Cowsills (including interview with Barbara Cowsill)
  2. “Tales of Brave Ulysses” – Cream  (including interview with Eric Clapton)
  3. “I’m In Love” – Wilson Pickett (including interview with Wilson Pickett)
