Description

The Incredible String Band---"Wee Tam And The Big Huge"---Original UK 1st Pressed Stereo Double Album In VG+/EX Playing Condition On The Red Elektra Label---A2, B1, A2 and B1 From 1968---Gatefold Sleeve With Rare To Find "The Head" Insert

This is a UK copy from 1968 in stereo on the Red/Silver & Red/Black labels, cat. no. EKS 74036/7 with matrices A2, B1, A2 and B1.

Vinyl: VG+. The vinyl is in lovely condition with a great shine and no marks. It looks as if it would play with amazing audio but it plays as follows:Side 1 VG+ with some surface noise and 4 ticks. Side 2 plays VG+. Side 3 is, again, about the same VG+ with some light ticks. Side 4 is better and rates EX.

Labels: NM. Labels are in great condition with no markings and are both original but, for some strange reason one has silver text and the other has black text. There is very light use spindle wear on both.

Sleeve: VG+. The gatefold (this is not the later 2 parter) sleeve is in very solid condition with some edge and corner wear. There is some discolouration on the white card. It still has the elusive "The Head" insert, which is in NM condition. 

With a low start price you could get yourself a real bargain.
