AN ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!! VINYL IN A UNIQUE EX CONDITION!!!FIRST PRESS NEON LABELS!!!ULTRA RARE!!!
I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!!NO skips, jumps or sticks. Great but often obtuse existential songcraft and it is strange that Indian Summer did not make the big league!! This is as good if not better than Sabbath, Heep or Yes!! I played this on my ROTEL turntable with a SHURE cartridge and through headphones
Vinyl: EX- . Absolutely great example of this extremely scarce albumy glossy vinyl that has no problems. This is a heavy slab of beautiful glossy vinyl!!! Indian summer first got rejected in favour of Black Sabbath who got the Vertigo recording contract. They were handled by Jim Simpson. One and a half year later the Coventry based group they got their break in early 1971.
Gatefold sleeve: EX. E.J. Day Group sleeve with Artwork by Legendary KEEF of Vertigo fame. Matt and prone to wear as the early vertigo gatefolds. Rarely seen like this!!!! NO CREASES, NO WRITING!! Some corner wear, the edges are straight, there is minor storage bottom edge wear. The inside gatefold picture is fantastic, untouched. Light ringwear to the back. The spine is fully legible.A great iconic sleeve of the period when music was still real and magical!!
The original black polylined inner sleeve is still present and in EX++ condition with NO splits or creases.
