JOE HARRIOTT - JOHN MAYER DOUBLE QUINTET - " INDO-JAZZ FUSIONS " , Columbia/EMI Records (SX 6215), Mono, 1968.
Very rare 1968 Columbia LP featuring the second Indo-Jazz Fusions sessions, released as one of the legendary "Lansdowne Series".
English issue and pressing.
Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve.
CONDITION:
VINYL = EXCELLENT (No scratches, no groove damage, just the very lightest of spindle trails, no excessive surface noise, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few faint paper scuffs and one or two hairline marks just visible on the vinyl's surface - but none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before any music starts. However, once the music starts, it plays perfectly - free from interuption from distortion, clicks, pops, surface noise, etc.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G.++ (Generally pretty good. Just had to mark it down slightly for some very light creasing in the laminate on a couple of the corners and aling the spine and and open edge. Also the back is not quite as white as it once was. Overall, not too bad an example - see photos for further clarification)
