Up for bids is an incredibly RARE ? Brand New (old stock) FACTORY SEALED original 1972 release of Alice Cooper ?  School’s Out  ?  WITH Blue Panties still wrapped around the LP.

I bought this LP new back in 72, never opened it & put it in sealed plastic container in my 65° basement for safe keeping. GOOD LUCK finding another sealed copy of this highly desirable record.

This Scarce sealed copy is the US 2nd Pressing of the iconic Alice Cooper – School’s Out on Warner Brothers label BS 2623

The 1972  2nd pressing still had the die cut jacket with the Fold Out desk cover & Legs but DOES HAVE the song titles on the back of the jacket. This pressing also came with the paper panties wrapped around the LP and plastic inner sleeve. Alice stated in his book he was proud the panties were banned by the Federal Trade Commission for not being Fireproof.  Thrilled that now there were thousands of panties wrapped around records that the US Government considered a Fire Hazzard !!

The song titles on the jacket differ in order from the songs on the LP and record labels. Also, “Street Fight” is not listed on jacket back.

The Label on the 2nd pressing is nearly identical to the 1st press, with different matrix run outs. (see stock photos of both). So there are very little differences between the two releases except the song titles listed on the jacket & matrix markings. I’m nearly certain the 2nd pressing did NOT come with the elusive Report Card & not sure if even the standard US 1st pressing did either.

Condition Jacket: Factory Sealed NEW old stock =  VG++  one small corner ding caused a vein in cardboard jacket Top Left or would be NM. All other corners are clean w no nicks or dings. The factory cellophane is still intact covering 98% of the jacket. There is a 2 inch opening starting in the cellophane on the left hand side of the flip open desktop. The record could never have been removed. This is actually good because you can see the Blue Panties still wrapped around the record and plastic inner sleeve. Condition Panties:  Have been sealed / wrapped around the LP for 45+ years so they are probably stretched a bit. There are no visible signs of any dirt or flaws.
