UK (INTENDED TO BE) ONE SIDED 10" METAL ACETATE WITH CUSTOM 'EXCHANGE' LABEL.
INADVERTANTLY CARRIES A 'REJECT' CUT OF 'SHE COMES IN THE FALL' ON WHAT SHOULD BE THE NON-PLAYING 'B' SIDE.
QUITE POSSIBLY A UNIQUE, 'ONE-OFF' ITEM?

SLEEVE. EX. Custom made 'in-house' white card generic sleeve. Light ringwear and a very light yellowing in the area occupied by the shellac coated acetate inside. Looks whiter and brighter than it appears in the photo. Good solid edges. No splits, tears or writing.
RECORD. Looks VG/Plays EX. Conveniently, as it's a 7" cut within a 10" disc, virtually all the light scuffs are on the outer edge away from the playing surface. 7" area itself has a light, kind of horse-shoe shaped pressing mark but I've test played it and it has no effect on play whatsoever. Plays loud and strong. Nice clean label too.
IMPORTANT NOTE ****** 'HIDDEN', UNINTENTIONAL BONUS TRACK ON 'B' SIDE.
The 'hidden' bonus here is a much shorter, incomplete and obviously 'dumped' cut of 'She Comes In The Fall' which is different from the version on one of the other Inspirals acetates which I've got up at the moment. This version cuts out about 2 thirds of the way through via suddenly splitting to just the right hand speaker and then completely stopping dead with a few 'playing' grooves still to go. To these ears it seems to have much less bass and echo than the full length version which appears on the other one-sided acetate but I honestly don't know if it's any sort of unreleased mix or anything. I'll leave that for the winner to decide (should there be one of course).
It's not uncommon with acetates for there to be a 'struck out' track on the reverse. It's just down to studio economics and not wanting to waste a playing side. The reverse side track though can often be by a completely different artist and has usually been deliberately struck through with 3 scratches (at roughly equal distances around the length of the track) in order to ensure that it doesn't get played by mistake in favour of the 'A'side.
What's unusual here though is;
a) it is an Inspirals track and not some unrelated artist and (infinitely more importantly)
b) despite the 'strike throughs' it still plays through to it's sudden and unceremonious 'end'. One of the marks causes an audible 'pop' throughout of course but nevertheless it does play right the way through with no jumps and no sticks. Result? One 'hidden' bonus track!
