OK, BACK TO SOME GOOD 45s OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES FOR A WEEK OR TWO - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1958 U.S. Hanover Records RARE ROCKIN' INSTRUMNETAL 45 RPM record containing the tunes titled 'Chop Suey Rock'/'Are You Nervous?' from the fittingly named group The Instrumentals.   It is Hanover Records catalog number 4502, and is a GUARANTEED 1958 ORIGINAL, NOT A 'REPRO' REPRODUCTION AND NOT A 1970s ERA 'COLLECTORS PRESSING'!! - THIS 45 CAME FROM A COLLECTION OF ABOUT 200 45S I RECENTLY PURCHASED FROM A WOMAN WHO WORKED AT THE RCA PRESSING PLANT IN NEW YORK CITY DURING THE LATE 1950S AND VERY EARLY 1960S.  ALL OF THE RECORDS IN THAT COLLECTION WERE ORIGINAL PRESS ROCK AND POP RECORDS THAT WERE RELEASED DURING THE SAME TIME PERIOD.   'Chop Suey Rock' will remind you of the music of The Rockin R's or The Rockin Rebels - It is a heavy rock-n-roll instrumental with sax and a loud guitar break; 'Are You Nervous?' is a take-off on the old Louis Nye comedy routine that was a weekly feature on the late 1950s era 'Steve Allen Show'.    This record is in real nice shape - Condition of record is conservatively a real nice VG++ with all original gloss and just a very few small and light surface marks which mostly show up only under strong light, and none of which can be felt and none of which affect play.  Record also has an extremely slight and small slow warp near its outer edge which only becomes apparent when the record is placed on a turntable, and which also has absolutely no effect on play.  Record plays through nicely with a little bit of light surface noise.  Labels have a little bit of contact wear as can be seen in my accompanying image, no other real flaws worth mentioning.  This 45 would make a choice addition to any early rock-n-roll instrumental or roots rock-n-roll record collection!
