It is acknowledged that this is perhaps the most counterfeited album ever, however, this is strongly believed to be an original, authentic 1964 issue!!
It has been checked against the Goldmine Standard, and this online counterfeit detection guide: http://www.eskimo.com/~bpentium/beatles/intro/intro.html

- This has the "song titles" cover with "Please Please Me" & "Ask Me Why" included
- plain Vee-Jay logo in silver on solid black label
- has no tell-tale signs of counterfeiting, ie lacking George's shadow, brown border or flat paper stock
- "The Beatles" & "Introducing the Beatles" both above center hole

This LP comes from an impressive collection of original Beatles albums from the original owner who purchased most of his records soon after their original release.

Cover: VG
wear starting to show, slight crease, & bottom seam just beginning to split, but still very nice cover.
Vinyl: VG
plays fine without skipping

I strive for strict (if not modest) adherence to the Goldmine Grading Standard, used by the International Record Collector's Guild of America.
If record is not already play-tested, it can be upon request.
