INTRODUCING THE BEATLES 1964 Vee-Jay Records Original US Mono Press VJLP 1062 LP
Original U.S. mono pressing of Introducing The Beatles, issued by Vee-Jay Records during the group’s first American breakthrough in 1964. This is the revised-tracklisting edition, produced after legal changes to the album configuration, and represents one of the earliest widely distributed U.S. Beatles LPs. Featuring early Lennon–McCartney classics such as “I Saw Her Standing There,” “Please Please Me,” and “Twist And Shout,” this release remains a cornerstone of any Beatles or British Invasion collection.
This specific copy shows honest play and age-related wear, consistent with a well-used original from the period. The record plays through with visible surface wear, the jacket exhibits peeling and seam damage, and a period Capitol Records inner sleeve is included.
