20+ year record collector with some cool new stuff coming soon on eBay! Please check my other auctions or sale listings!

You are bidding on a great original album (not a reissue) by The Beatles called "Introducing The Beatles" on Vee Jay Records, however....

IT IS A FACTORY PRESSING MISTAKE!

RECORD HAS A MONO COVER AND RECORD HAS MONO LABELS, BUT PLAYS STEREO!!!

There were not as many Stereo Beatles Vee Jay LP's pressed due to the still higher demand for Mono at the time.

IT IS ALSO VERY RARE TO FIND THIS "PLEASE PLEASE ME", "ASK ME WHY" VERSION IN STEREO!!!

MATRIX (OR DEAD WAX) NUMBERS HAVE AN "S" BEFORE THEM, WHICH STANDS FOR STEREO!!! PLEASE SEE THE TWO PROVIDED PHOTOS FOR TWO POINTS OF VIEW.

Side 1's Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) starts with a very faint, hand-etched date "1-24-64", then a faint stamped "Audio Matrix", then a hand-etched "S 63-3402-1", then a tiny hand-etched "ARC 274", a hand-etched "URJ", and finally what appears to be a hand-etched "A1".

Side 2's Matrix numbers (or Dead Wax numbers) starts with a very faint, hand-etched date "1-24-64", then a faint stamped "Audio Matrix", then a hand-etched "S 63-3403", then a tiny hand-etched "ARC 274", and finally a hand-etched "URJ".

TESTED AND LISTENED TO WITH HEADPHONES FOR CONFIRMATION.

RECORD LABELS ARE THE RAINBOW COLOR BAND WITH BRACKETS.

Tracks include “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Please Please Me”, "Ask Me Why", "Twist And Shout" and much more!

Back cover and Side 2 label read "Please Please Me" without comma.

Please note that I proudly use the latest Perry Cox Beatles price guide and Bruce Spizer Vee Jay book for grading and reference. I also had it verified by two experts whose names I will provide only upon request.

NOTE:

The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.

The cover I would rate as a strong VG+ condition. Cover has a 2" split on the bottom corner by the opening. Bottom has some very minor fraying on bottom. Spine is completely intact and looks beautiful! Absolutely amazing example of this cover!

I would rate the record’s condition as VG to VG+. Record really plays nice on my player! Plenty of fidelity left! There are a few minor surface scratches and a couple of deep ones that do not affect anything. Also some minor wear. Labels may have some photo glare on pictures. Again, it plays great! Comes with original Vee Jay Records inner sleeve!

Makes a great gift for any Beatles or LP fan!

See my other auctions for more funky original records, cassettes, reel to reels, CD’s, and 8 tracks!

MY APOLOGIES IF THE SCANS ARE BAD, BUT MY DESCRIPTIONS ARE USUALLY DEAD ACCURATE FOR BACKUP.
