Description
Offered is "Introducing The Beatles". This is the very rare Version 1 column back pressing (Love Me Do--P.S. I Love You) with the Oval at the top of the labels, Vee Jay VJLP-1062. Also, what makes this particular version even more desirable to collectors is the presence of the smaller 45-labels.

Accompanied by the Rare Oval 45-Size label Variation.
"Vee Jay's habit of using whatever label backdrops that were available led to this strange and RARE variation- a label that IS NOT the standard size album label. Instead it is a black label with an outer rim Color Band featuring a small OVAL logo on a 45 size label! VJ1062 (1). MR2, Spizer:
Apparently, this curiosity was pressed when Monarch ran out of Album-size Oval logo backdrops, but prior to receiving the new "brackets" logo label backdrops in mid January 1964."

This exceptionally rare LP has "AudioMatrix"machine pressed in the dead wax along with the letter "M" in a circle.
The record is housed in the also very rare original Vee Jay inner sleeve which has:
"Other Fine Albums Of Significant Interest" printed on one side and
"The Great Gospel Artists Are On Vee-Jay" printed on the other. The sleeve shows a total of 50 of Vee Jay's albums of that era.
The cover has the essential 1/4" flaps.

Record Plays: VG / VG+, with some surface sound mainly heard between tracks. There are some scuffs and scratches. Very enjoyable listening.
Labels: VG++. There is a previous owner's I.D. sticker on Side 1 which can be removed.
Cover: VG minus, with a 2" piece of tape at the top seam and the bottom seam taped.
