Description
Per Wkipedia, Kick is the sixth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released in October 1987 by Atlantic Records in the United States and Canada. The album was produced by British producer Chris Thomas at Air Studios in London. The band's most successful studio album, Kick has been certified six times platinum by the RIAA and peaked at number three on the Billboard 200. The album also spawned four US top 10 singles, "New Sensation", "Never Tear Us Apart", "Devil Inside" and "Need You Tonight", the last of which reached the top of the US Billboard singles charts. The album up for bid is a 1987 release by Atlantic Records and was a first pressing by Specialty Records Corporation. It consists of 12 tracks with a run time of 39+ minutes.
The cover is in VG+ condition with very little to be critical in its appearance. There is only mild wear along the edges and corners. There are no split seams, bent corners, tears or markings. The front and back covers no sign of disc wear. The covers retain their gloss and the color photography is sharp and brilliant in color. The inner covers of this gatefold album are sharp and make a statement.
The paper inner sleeve is original and intact. There is a photo colage on one side and track listings with lyrics on the other side.
The recording has been cleaned and tested using Audacity. All tracks are free of skipping and there is very little background noise. On testing, I detected a single "click" on Side 2, track 1 and 2 clicks on track 3. These clicks were mild and did not interfere with the music. The sound is very clean and crisp. The disc surfaces show few signs of wear and there are no detectable signs of scratches or scuffs. The recording is VG/VG+, which make this a very collectable addition. I hope you think so too.
