Description
IPI-TOMBI — Original Cast Recording (Galaxy) • 2xLP • Stereo • 33⅓ RPM • ℗ 1975 A true South African stage classic on vinyl — energetic choir, storytelling, and the iconic “Ipi Tombi” theme. Collectors love this one for its cultural impact, striking artwork, and the genuine original cast feel. Description Bertha Egnos & Gail Lakier’s “IPI-TOMBI” is one of those theatre records that works even if you’ve never seen the show: it’s packed with rhythm, chants, crowd energy, and memorable melodies. This original cast recording became a gateway title for many listeners into South African stage/music culture — and that’s why it’s hunted by both collectors and everyday listeners.
We present this copy the way a premium shop should: clean photos, honest grading, and careful packing. We also include a new outer sleeve for the cover and a new inner sleeve for the vinyl (quietly, but with care).
