Limited edition boxset including:
Heavyweight hard cover boxet.
Heavyweight 48 page glossy hard cover book SIGNED BY BLAZE, STEVE, JANICK, DAVE & NICKO in 1998 for fan club members.
Colour photos, lyrics, artwork, Pete Frame family tree, diary notes (from the late 1970s to 1996).
4 individual glossy colour jackets with the records inside thin card colour inner sleeves.
Still has original hype sticker "Available soon... Melt Eddie's own 3D state-of-the-art computer game 7243 8 531851 1"
I'm not a record dealer so I haven't graded the records, however, looking at the Goldmine Standard for grading that Discogs uses for the condition of items listed in the Marketplace I would say the set is Very Good (VG) / Very Good Plus (VG+) because it plays through without skipping but surface noise is evident in some passages. Light scratches and scuffs are noticeable on the records themselves but the labels are free of writing, tape and stickers (or their residue) and the same is true of the picture sleeves and LP covers which may have slight signs of wear but aren't spoiled by cut-out holes, indentations, or cut corners. Vinyl One inner sleeve had a crease. Simply because, at times, the defects are more pronounced than a VG+ record, I would put this somewhere between VG and VG+ and if not for a couple of things I'd be more confident because I still find it a really enjoyable listen (and its more special because its signed). I'm only selling because I have terminal cancer.
Includes all 4 tracks recorded for The Soundhouse Tapes, plus the song Virus which didn't appear on another album and Afraid To Shoot Strangers sung live by Blaze. Also includes the UK single Sanctuary which didn't appear on the debut album in the UK (unlike the US version).
