IRON MAIDEN: FEAR OF THE DARK UK EMI DOUBLE GATEFOLD LP EMD1032 + INSERT, VGC
Iron Maiden: Fear of the Dark EMI Records Catalogue EMD1032 Original UK pressing, Double LP in Gatefold sleeve. Includes merchandise insert.Condition: Disc 1, Sides A&B: Near mint, aside from a little dust, no obvious scratches or marks. These are etched with EMD10321 A-01-1 and EMD10321 B-01-1 which indicates (I believe) first pressing. Original polythene lined inner sleeve included (slightly crumpled at top corner).
Disc 2, Sides C&D: Again, near mint but slightly dusty. A couple of very light marks to the image in the centre of side D. These are etched EMD10322 A-01-1-1 and EMD10322 B-01-2-1. Original polythene lined inner sleeve.
Merchandise Flyer: Near mint.
Gatefold sleeve: Excellent condition. Light signs of wear to the spine and base. Light trace of the retailer price sticker on the front cover (near the top of the tree image). Interior of gatefold is also excellent. However, the cardboard sleeve pockets (where the LPs actually sit) show a number of (what looks like) age or mould spots. These are concentrated around the edge of the sleeve where the records and inserted and removed - the bottom photo illustrates them. The LPs have sat with others in my spare room for years, I'm not entirely sure what's caused these. Not particularly visible unless you peer inside the sleeve.
Not tested recently - I'm selling off my LPs as I no longer have a working record player - but worked fine when last played.
