The Music: This is the icing on the cake in the successful Iron Maiden discography.With this release, the music and the lyrics narrate the story of the mystical Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. Listening to this album isn't just an headbanging experience, but it takes your imagination on a wild trip. The album chronicles the birth of the Seventh Son ("Born of woman the seventh son") who has magical powers which let him fortell the future. However, no one believes in him or his powers and he finally gets fed up and leaves his people. The music on this continues to remain on the high plateau attained in the previous studio albums (sources: www.ram.org - www.eddies.it).

The Italian Release of the Iron Maiden "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son" was an extremely limited edition issued shortly before the band appearance at the Italian Monsters Of Rock in September 1988. This record uniquely combines Picture vinyl, cardboard cover, sticker, poster, S.I.A.E. info sheet featuring tracklist and authorship information. All of these items were featured in the original release and here are included in the auction. The complete package is even rarer than the record itself that is most of the time available with something missing.
As you can notice the release is very different from the UK issue that features plastic transparent cover and the Iron Maiden nylon banner instead of the cardboard cover and the poster-sticker add-on.

+ Mega-Poster: Exclusive "Modena Arena Civica 10 Settembre 1988 - Monsters Of Rock poster. As new! Brilliant shape, no marks.
+ Sticker: Exclusive "Modena Arena Civica 10 Settembre 1988" sticker. Never stickered. As good as it was packaged in 1988.
+ S.I.A.E. info sheet: Perfect! Stamped with original S.I.A.E. mark and featuring all of the songs-autorships information.
