Description
We are offering for sale an original Japanese pressing of the "Live!! + One" 12" EP by IRON MAIDEN. This was released in 1980 by EMI (Japan) and is catalog # EMS-41001.
• The cover is AUTOGRAPHED by Clive Burr, Bruce Dickinson, Steve Harris, Dave Murray and Adrian Smith in blue ball point pen.
The cover has no seam splits or tears but there is evident wear around the seams and especially the corners. There are also some creases and two bent edges. Includes its original lyric sheet insert with no tears or marks. There are some minor creases and two small tack holes because you just KNOW the Metalhead that originally owned this tacked it to his wall!!
Also includes its original obi. It is torn in two places (the top and bottom) and there is some yellowed scotch tape in a futile attempt to piece this back together. The original owner has written "Maiden Live +1" in red ink on the blank side of the obi.
We are play grading the vinyl at VG. There are some scuffs and light scratches on each side. Matrix numbers are (Side 1) "EMS-41001-A 1S" and "EMS-41001-B 1S."
This record was acquired from the collection of a Houston radio station employee from the early-mid 1980's. We believe he got this signed on Maiden's "The Beast On The Road" tour. The band played at The Summit on August 13, 1982. Ironically (and not in a good way), The Summit is now the site of Joel Osteen's mega-church.
