IRON MAIDEN Piece Of Mind Capitol ST 12274 Sterling stamped
The vinyl was wet washed with Nitty Gritty Pure 2, rinsed and then vacuumed clean on my Record Doctor V cleaning machine.
VINYL=Side 1 is right at VG+ or Strong VG. Lots of glossy shine with your normal light paper scuffs in spots and a few more visible hairlines on the first track but does not affect play at all. Listening now and it sounds excellent with an occasional very light pop/crackle. Side 2 is the better side also with some paper scuffs and an odd mark here and there. Nice shine too. Played but not abused. Great player for sure. So many great songs and riffs and Bruce's soaring vocals.
COVER= VG++ or EX- Looks great with some light edge wear and a some creasing most notably along the top edge on the front and a deeper crease/scratch on the back bottom edge that you can feel. This is still pretty crisp and has been in the shrink up until the time of this listing. I removed it because it was getting wrinkled and tattered in a few spots and I thinks it looks better "naked" and in a clean poly sleeve. There were no hype stickers. Inner Sleeve is VG with some light edge wear and creasing. Both sides are split free and the bottom seem has a 1" split. I'm including a new paper sleeve for the vinyl so the original can be preserved. The mailorder insert sheet is good but has some moderate creasing/wrinkles on the bottom corner. It's being stored in the inner sleeve.
