Rare pair of original UK Iron Maiden 7” singles with documented provenance relating to the Annie Nightingale CBE archive, originally sold through Omega Auctions.
1. Running Free / Burning Ambition – EMI 5032 (1980)
Original UK pressing with “FACTORY SAMPLE – NOT FOR SALE” sticker still attached to the label.
Matrix/run-out details visible and available in photographs.
2. The Number of the Beast / Remember Tomorrow – EMI 5287 (1982)
Unusual DJ/pre-release pressing, with DJ matrix markings. This version features The Number of the Beast without the spoken-word introduction associated with the standard release.
Provenance:
The records are accompanied by a signed Certificate of Provenance stating that they originated from the Annie Nightingale CBE personal archive, subsequently sold as part of Omega Auctions Lot 1014 in September 2026. The certificate and supporting photographs will be supplied with the records.
