Up for sale is an excellent copy of IRON MAIDEN "Soundhouse Tapes" with original handwritten signature of bassplayer and bandboss Steve Harris.
It ´s been some years ago that I bought this from a collector who told me that he grabbed the autograph somewhere around 1987/88. I can imagine the look of Steve Harris when he held this little piece in his hands... Of course it is not the original limited first press, but a nice replica. Artwork, shape and design are close to the original.
This one would make a good job for all those Maiden Maniacs who can´t or just won´t afford an original copy for 400-600 pounds. I am just selling it because some time ago an original copy crossed my way. Therefore I Iike to see this copy in the hands of a real Maiden fan who takes as much joy and pleasure of it as I did.
The signature is 100% genuine. First I have compared it with the autographs that I collected in person from Steve Harris and they are alike. Second is that Steve´s signature is quite unique and i.m.h. o. hard to forge, and third, who would fake his signature (without the other band menbers..) on a soundhouse tapes replica..
Condition Cover:
EXCELLENT. it is used, but always kept in a plastic protection sleeve.
Condition vinyl:
VG+ . it shows some hairlines and some minor scuffs, but no scratches or other damage. I haven´t played it for a long time but I remember that it plays well without skips or jumps, just with the odd background noise between tracks which is common for 7`` singles. If you really want to play it would be of advantage if your turntable has a pitch control to slow down the music slightly..
