Description

Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1959 first pressing of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major played by Isaac Stern and conducted by Leonard Bernstein, on Columbia Stereo MS-6093. Original 6-eye labels and Columbia plastic inner sleeve. This recording is widely considered to be one of the great recordings of Stern’s long career, and it is easy to hear why with this copy, which is pretty much mint. One of the best sounding records on Columbia, in my opinion, and this copy plays completely flawlessly and just gloriously. The disc is pristine. The cover is also very nearly pristine, with only the tiniest bit of light shelfwear. This is a truly top copy, near impossible to beat.
