For sale  an EXCEPTIONAL  book of 8 x 78 RPM 10" made by a real lover (Yvon) of  EARLY HAÏTIAN COMPAS. This incredible book contains the records of : ERNEST  LAMY  Y  SU ORQUESTA  with singer  JOSEPH TROUILLOT (2 records),  ISSA  EL  SAIEH  AND  HIS  ORCHESTRA with singers JOSEPH  TROUILLOT  &  GUY  DUROSIER (4 records),  a percussion set with  TI  RORO,  TI  MARCEL  &  TI  RENE  with singers  JOSEPH  TROUILLOT,  GUY  DUROSIER,  HERBIE  &  DODOLPH,  and the last one is  GILLES  SALA  with  ORCHESTRE  E. LEARDEE  ET  SON  ENSEMBLE  ANTILLAIS.  Gilles Sala being from Martinique, this one is not exactly Haïtian music, but because of the song "Haïti Chérie", the original owner put it in the book with the other Compas records. The labels are:  SEECO  7329, 7330,  LA  BELLE  CREOLE  102, 103/701, 205, 302,  CITADELLE  402 and  DUCRETET  THOMSON  Y 8077.  I found this book many years ago in PARIS in a very little shop which is now disapeared. The first times I have played the records, I remember that I was so touched that I cried by emotion. Many years after, I must admite that I'm still touched by the exceptional quality of the music. This is pure COMPAS at its beginning and it is a real delight for the ears. As you could understand, this is a reluctant sale, but I need heavy money for my project of music studio here in FRANCE. All I wish is that this wonderfull book will go into the good hands. The best will be to reissue on CD this wonderfull music from an other time. The book condition in sturdy cardboard is still excellent. The records condition is going from VG++ until M. Some records have traces but NO scratch. All the records are still glossy and all play perfectly with the incredible dynamic of the 78 RPM and the sound quality is stunning.  Lastly all the labels are Unplayed or Near Unplayed. Sorry for the picture limitation, but you have the details on the inside cover wrote by the original owner (pic. #2). This book is a kind of "once-by-life chance", so, don't miss it...
