MAILING COSTS ARE SHOWN BELOW, FOLLOWING THE TITLES: ITALIAN LIBRARY MUSIC: " CITTA' NOTTE " (1972) Music by EGISTO MACCHI Unique and RARE album of music by composer MACCHI on the Italian label SERMI FILM, number SR.ST 134 / STEREO. (Conducted by the composer). Vinyl is LIKE NEW, and cover nearly so other than some minor ring wear on the back. The sound of the music has been described as "moody and full of suspense in a dreamy 'film noir' manner", with " a full moon lighting up the wet asphalt kind of way". But this same description goes on to say " underneath and on top of the lovely main themes there are all these squeaky sounds, plonking string instruments, illustrative percussion, whistling and howling. A walk through the city and it's parks by night with your own breath and footsteps, birds singing, hissing insects and neon lights."
