Description

For sale is a vinly LP by one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most popular bands - It’s a Beautiful Day, formed in 1967.  Their signature song “White Bird” was literally known by everyone as the band was constantly playing in small clubs, free concerts and larger venues.  Formed by Linda LaFlamme on keyboards along with her husband David LaFlamme (violnist) they created music that blew everyone’s mind with their style of rock, jazz, folk, classical and unique beats. The inspired album cover was voted # 24 on Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest album covers.  Released in 1969 by Columbia Records, the personnel are: David LaFlamme (violin, lute and lead vocals), Linda LaFlamme (acoustic piano, electric piano, organ, celeste, harpsichord), Hal Wagenet (guitars), Mitchell Holman (bass, harmonica and vocals), Val Fuentes (drums and vocals), Pattie Santos (percussion, bells and vocals) and Bruce Steinberg (harmonica).

The LP is in near mint condition (no scratches or marks) and the cover (inside & out) is also in near mint with only a little rubbing (see photo).  There really are no signs of wear and I would call this mint, except for the fact that it has been opened and played a couple of times.  If you have any questions, please ask.  Thank you.
