Description
Seems like everyone is looking for one of these! Here it is! Columbia records #36838 "It's Been A Long Long Time" with "Autumn Serenade" on the other side. Harry James and his Orchestra with Kitty Kallen. Nice copy that you can play and enjoy, display, or put away for safe keeping. As heard in "The Avengers: Endgame" of course. It truly is a wonderful, beautiful song. Using the VJM 78 grading system this is a VG+ disc. No chips, cracks, or scratches that you can feel. Plays nice. Comes with the original Columbia paper record sleeve that shows light wear, but pretty nice for a paper sleeve this old! Remember this is a 78 speed record and you'll need a record player or turntable with 78 speed available on it to play it, and for best sound you'll want a needle meant for playing 78's. You can use a regular needle, but one made for 78's will sound better. Do not be freaked out by my shipping charges. This is a nearly 80 year old record that is made out of laminated shellac. They are very fragile. They should be treated with care like you would a fine china plate. It will be in a heavy cardboard archival sleeve, WITH the original paper sleeve shown included. The record won't be in the original sleeve so the record can't shift in shipping and rip through the sleeve. I pack the record between several pieces of cardboard, packed in a box with bubble wrap, then THAT box is placed into another layer of bubble wrap which is then slipped into a slightly larger box. So the record will arrive in perfect condition. Over the years I've bought too many 78's that I really wanted that got damaged in shipping, and I make darn sure that won't happen to yours. I only ship via Priority Mail so the package spends the least amount of time in transit and is shipped with tracking and insurance. Happy to ship overseas just be aware of shipping costs.
