Nennt es Folk-Psych, Acid Folk, Folk oder was auch immer: Für mich ist diese Doppel-LP voll mit der vielleicht schönsten Musik, die jemals auf Vinyl gepresst wurde. Herrliche Songs, meistens melancholisch ruhig mit fragilen Arrangements und tollem Gesang von Bandleader Takashi Nishioka (der ist übrigens auch Hauptverantwortlicher für die grandiose, mega-rare LP von Melting Glass Box) und seiner kongenialen Gesangspartnerin Hideko Fujiwara, deren Stimme schöner kaum sein könnte. Ich hab' nicht die geringste Ahnung, warum diese Band in Europa noch immer völlig unbekannt ist.

Diese Doppel-LP von 1972 ist sozusagen ein Best-Of-Album mit Singles und Songs ihrer ersten 5 LPs für das Japanische Indie-Label URC (=Underground Record Club).

Absolutely fantastic 2LP-compilation with 26 incredibly beautiful tracks by this excellent Japanese folk-psych band led by Takashi Nishioka, who was also the mastermind behind the wonderful, ultra-rare album by Melting Glass Box.
Stunning songs, delicate arrangements and the wonderful voice of female singer Hideko Fujiwara make this album a real masterpiece. Strongly recommended!!!

mint-: So gut wie neu, keine Nebengeräusche / As good as new, without any background noise

ex : Nur minimale Gebrauchsspuren; höchstens mal ein kurzes Knistern, aber nichts Störendes. Platten in dieser Kategorie sollten eigentlich auch jeden Mint-Sammler zufriedenstellen. / Shows only very minor signs that it was played. There might only be very, very light crackle at times, but nothing serious. Even most mint-collectors should be satisfied with records in this category.

vg+: Zeitweise leichtes Knistern oder auch mal ein vereinzeltes Knacksen, aber absolut hörenswert / Light occasional crackle and perhaps an occasional minor “pop” might occur; still very good to listen to.

vg: Leichte Kratzer, leichte Nebengeräusche, aber noch nichts wirklich Ernstes. Näheres in der jeweiligen Beschreibung. / There is (occasional) background noise, but no major flaws. Details are explained in each description.

vg-: Durchaus noch hörbar, aber die Nebengeräusche, könnten auch mal störend sein. Näheres in der jeweiligen Beschreibung. / Still enjoyable, but background noise can at times disturb the fun. Details are explained in each description.
