APPUNTAMENTO GIALLO / PASSEGGIATA ROSA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by IVAN VANDOR. Original Italian pressing on CAM label (AMP 23), from 1967. Ultra-stylish and obscure Italian soundtrack by the cult arranger and important jazz musician. Outstanding mood music from the Poliziotteschi giallo thriller Omicidio Per Appuntamento aka Date For A Murder. A film directed by Mino Guerrini starring Ella Karin / Günther Stoll and Mario Brega. A sophisticated example of the Italian lounge sound with psychedelic jazz / film noir touches and beautiful, counterpoint vocal chorus singers. APPUNTAMENTO GIALLO is an elegant 'beat' theme with cute and sultry female scat and PASSEGGIATA ROSA is the chic jazz waltz side with hammond / cellos and male scat harmony. Desirable item with certain Japanese collectors. Shades of the Marcello Gigante / I 4 + 4 Di Nora Orlandi soundtrack single Hot Chair aka Sedia Elettrica aka Electric Chair (with Gangsters A New York and Gardenia theme). Pop art inspired picture sleeve with fumetti cartoon style murder scene showing musicians looking down on a dead body. Very rare OST 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) with some hairlines and paper scuffs from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M- overall) with a little creasing and very light corner wear, in places. Some white rub marks to back sleeve but not sure if part of the actual artwork? Very rare OST 45!!!
