Description

How do you start to describe this album. What comes to mind is Captain Beefheart meets Bagpuss. For any International browser, who don't know who Bagpuss is, if you could imagine, children's television presenters very much following the style and influences of British PHYCHADELIC sixties and seventies. This book listed COLLECTABLE album is certainly up there with Trout faced replica, as one of the weirdest records I have ever had in my collection. Ivor Cutler was a Scottish poet and songwriter, on the album are segment of narrated verse mixed with what can be described as a Folk Revival sound. The artist was very much in with George Martin, and members of the Beatles, results in a cameo in " The Magical mystery tour ". This record came out in 1975 on Virgin record label.
