Ivy Benson Orchestra – I'd Like To Teach The World To Blow (Jazz Big Band Vinyl LP)
Good hard-to-find UK signed promo.
Undated debut album by the British female jazz band leader.
The handwritten message reads: "To Marisa, Ivy Benson, Caister 1977".
Condition VINYL: VG. Looks unsoiled on visual inspection. Some light scuffs and hairline on each side and two short curved marks near edge of side 1 – but no deep scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is decent throughout. Run-ins have some surface noise and crackling. Mild static and clicking in places and during quieter cues/fadeouts. These big band jazz instrumentals sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen. OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G+. Colours are unfaded on superb thin card sleeve. No rips. Some creases in from sides and curved creases on front. Mild stains in places on front as well as corner scuffs and edge wear. Aperture lightly dogeared and discoloured; spine also worn and faded. Disc ring outline both sides. Message and signature in top left is clean and unmarked/unsmudged. Back cover has scuffing round edges and more creases. Intact. INNER SLEEVE: VG. Poly-lined sleeve with centre hole. Yellowed but clean and intact. Just a few corner folds and creases. A decent example.
