Ian Carr with Nucleus -  Solar Plexus Vertigo 636039 - VGC - 1971

I don't really know how to rate this and am not a record dealer so I have taken lots of pictures. The cover is very clean with only a couple of minor creases, clearly visible on the right and left each about 2 inches long.  This is what I would describe as normal very light wear.  There are otherwise no bumps, spine wear or edge wear.  I guess that maybe makes the cover excellent or even excellent plus.  The record plays absolutely fine on my deck with just a few occasional clicks, nothing really, it may benefit from a clean.  There is almost no marking around the spindle I reckon the record has only been played a few times.  However there is a faint line, I suspect from the plastic inner sleeve on side one - this is clearly shown in the last three photos.  I cannot hear any noise from the record at all where it is but mention this as I always do for complete honesty.  The record surface is otherwise unmarked.  The matrix numbers are shown and the inner sleeve is plain.  I have no idea how much this is worth and all my attempts to find out have confused me so I am starting at my usual .99p - good luck!

Please supersize my pictures which explain condition much better than my words can.

This is from my personal collection and if it was played it was cossetted on a Linn Sondek deck with a Grace arm and Supex cartridge.

Please supersize the pictures which are self explanatory to appreciate the condition, invest with confidence and enjoy this fast appreciating asset.

Your record will be securely packed in a proper record carrier with stiffeners (unlike many other sellers) and if in the highly unlikely event you are not happy with your purchase I will refund your money if you return the record!

Important - my records are competitively priced and postage is only £1 on second and subsequent purchases in the UK as long as you don't mind them being posted together.  I am listing records from .99p so look at my other listings and grab an amazing bargain to go with any winning bids.

Record Gradings

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
