Description
Ian Gillan & Others,Jesus Christ Super Star,LP, Catalogue Number: (MKPS 2012), Cover Details: Special sleeve with a Company inner sleeve.
Cover Condition: less than very good condition. Please see pictures and description.
Record Condition: Has some light surface marks which should not affect play, these are mostly made from removing the record from the sleeve so should play through fine with no playback defects(no actual scratches or jumps/skips/sticks etc) and is acceptable to most collectors.
Any Other Details: Very rare original first pressing, on the orange and yellow MCA swirl record labels. Only a few hundred went out with this label style as MCA were changing to the Dog Bone labels. Matrix numbers 7-214-2 1U, 7-215 1U, 7-216-2 1C & 7-217. Housed in the rare star shaped sleeve. The front of the sleeve has some light shelf wear and all four corners are worn, the back has four triangular shaped pieces, one has a lot of creases, its corresponding piece has the end missing from the split onwards, the other two are intact but the one with the slit has creased at this area. Complete with its first pressed booklet which is on shinny paper and has rounded corners, oddly this copy has three shaped corners and one square corner. It is printed by E.J. Day. The booklet has some tiny spots of staining on the front and back covers, there are more dotted throughout the book. It has been handled a fair bit, by someone whose fingers were not very clean. There are a lot of light handling creases, but no folds or tears. There is a small patch of glue on the front. Both staples are intact. The original blue and white polylined stereo inners are present, they are creased and have tears at the die cut centres, one has lots of tears to the plastic at the centre(could easily be replaced)
