Ice Cube’s first solo album AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (1990) is a gritty solo debut about inner-city Black life, systemic racism, and street survival. Following his split from N.W.A, Ice Cube teamed up with New York's The Bomb Squad to blend hard-hitting West Coast storytelling with chaotic, political East Coast beats.
