Description
The product is a first UK pressing of Iggy Pop's "The Idiot" LP from 1977 on the RCA label. This punk/new wave record features a 33RPM speed and comes in a 12" cardboard sleeve. The vinyl is graded as Very Good Plus (VG+), and the sleeve is also graded as VG+. This collectible item is a must-have for fans of Iggy Pop and early 1970s rock music.
The etching in the runout groove has the original 1977 code PL 12275. RCA later put this original 1977 disc into a recycled or later-printed sleeve that was marked with the reissue number INTS 5172. But this is not a reissue. It is the original release vinyl record placed into a later-printed sleeve as testified by the etching in the runout groove. See picture of the etching.
