Iggy Pop - "The Idiot" LP - RCA Victor Records APL1-2275 - 1977 First US Pressing - VG+
Iggy Pop's debut album as a solo artist was released in the US by RCA Victor in March 1977.
There was just one original US release of this album. There were no inserts. Please feel free to verify features of various release versions on Discogs if you have any concerns.

Overall condition is VG+. Vinyl is VG+ with light scuffing. Sleeve is VG+, still in shrinkwrap with minor corner/edge wear and and a cutout (would be NM otherwise).

  • After the Stooges ended, Iggy did not release any new recordings until 1977, when he issued three in quick succession. The Idiot, produced by and co-written with David Bowie in Berlin, was his first album from that year (followed by Lust for Life and Kill City).

Grading is subjective, I am not a professional dealer. I try to place myself in the position of the buyer and be as accurate as possible, listing any notable defects.

Shipping in US via USPS Ground Advantage, it's a bit more expensive but you'll get it quicker with less likelihood of loss or damage. (The only shipments I've ever had "go missing" were sent Media Mail.) Shipping to other countries is via eBay International Shipping.
