Description

The origins of punk.  The Guardian, "One of the most influential banks in rock history."   2004 Rolling Stone named Iggy and the Stooges as the 78th greatest artist of all time.  IMO even today sounds raw, edgy and kind of crazy.
Artist: Iggy and the Stooges
Album: Raw Power
Genre:  Proto punk.  Hard rock.
Year:  Original 1973 release.
Label: Columbia-32111
Condition:      Vinyl:   VG+ Some scuffs and hairline scratches not audible.  Tested.  Great sound.      Jacket:  VG  The original shrink wrap was taped to the inside of the album jacket opening (not by me!)  I removed the visible tape and shrink.  Hype sticker will be sent with the album.  Some edgewear.  Vivid color.  (see photos).      Iggy inner sleeve with writing on one side and small tear. I endeavor to grade accurately using the Goldmine Grading Standard, but please carefully review the photos.
Shipping:        The inner sleeve containing the record is taken out of the jacket, then the inner sleeve and vinyl are placed in a new outer plastic sleeve (to help prevent damage to the album jacket during shipping).  The album is then wedged between 2 cardboard pieces and shipped in a 13x13x1 inch box.      All vinyl is sent via USPS media mail with tracking.            I am not a reseller.  All items listed come from my extensive personal collection and have been in my or my family's procession for at least 40 years.
